Community Programs

Have an idea? Build it here.

PCH is more than a place to rent a room — it's a place to build something. An Official PCH Community Program is any ongoing class, club, league, workshop, or series that serves the community and has a leader ready to run it.  Our mission is to provide a community hub where education, health, and creativity come together — empowering our rural community to thrive together.

What Could Become a PCH Community Program?

A taste of what your neighbors could start here.

Arts, Music & Culture: community choir, youth theater, art classes, photography club, makers & craft guild, book festival & author series, local history society, lecture series, language exchange.

Health, Recreation & Connection: yoga & fitness, pickleball league, walking groups, veterans connection, outdoor recreation club, financial wellness series, emergency preparedness, life skills academy.

Education, Careers & Technology: digital skills academy, career development center, small business incubator, rural leadership institute, home maintenance academy, genealogy & family history.

Food, Environment & Community Projects: farmers market, gardening programs, cooking classes, community repair café, community science initiative, innovation & idea lab.

These are examples, not limits.

Core Community Programs

PCH provides free access to private offices for telehealth appointments, virtual job interviews, virtual court appointments, and other approved private appointments.

PCH also provides free access to a workstation for work-related activities. Users may reserve one two-hour block per day, up to eight times per month. Reserve an office or workstation on the Calendar page.

These office services are part of PCH's core mission and are separate from room rentals and other community programs.

Volunteer at PCH

This space runs on people who show up for it. Share a skill, help a neighbor find their telehealth appointment link, welcome guests at an event, or just lend a hand — volunteering helps build this place.

Ways to help: teach a skill, support tech & telehealth, welcome guests, help clean, or give your time.

Three Things Every Program Needs

Every Official PCH Community Program needs three things: a leader ready to run it, a plan to pay its way, and a clear community purpose. See the Community Programs Packet for full requirements.

  1. A Leader or Organizer

  2. A Plan

  3. A Purpose Benefiting the Community
